Chiho Environmental Group, parent company of the metals recyclers Scholz in Germany and Liberty Iron & Metal in the US, bounced back into the black last year. The Chinese group significantly increased its revenues and earnings, according to a “positive profit alert” released in early March.
Chiho said its 2021 revenues were up by at least 60 per cent. “Overall, the group’s business performance displayed an improvement in 2021,” with “substantial growth” in volumes and margins for recycled metals.
