The Swedish company Stena Metall has reported another significant improvement in its full-year revenues and earnings. The 2021/22 financial year had been one of the best in the history of Stena Recycling, which pools its recycling and waste management operations, the group announced in its annual report, which was published in late October.
Stena Metall's financial year ended on 31 August. The company noted that its first half was a period of robust demand and high prices. However, a downward trend in prices emerged after Russia invaded Ukraine, and market sentiment shifted towards greater uncertainty, high inflation and fear of recession.
