Shortly after the official opening of its new recycling facility for lithium-ion batteries, Stena Recycling has announced a new cooperation. The Swedish company has signed an agreement with the battery cell producer Freyr covering recycling services for post-industrial scrap material generated at its "customer qualification plant" (QCP) in Mo i Rana in the North of Norway. The agreement also includes the option to cover scrap from Freyr’s Giga Arctic battery production facility, which is currently under construction, Stena Recycling reported on Tuesday....
